Fireworks, Food Trucks and a Parade: Your Wilson County Fourth of July Guide

The Fourth of July always lands with a bang in Wilson County, and this year the celebration carries extra weight: 2026 marks America's 250th birthday. From foam parties to food trucks to the biggest fireworks finales of the summer, here is where to be — starting tonight.

Mt. Juliet

Mt. Juliet's hometown celebration takes over Circle P Ranch at 563 E. Main Street on Saturday, July 4, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and the evening is built for families: a dozen food trucks, live music, and a foam party for the kids, all leading up to a fireworks finale at 9 p.m. Get there early — the good blanket spots go fast.

For a second option the same night, Mt. Juliet Christian Academy at 735 North Mt. Juliet Road opens its gates at 7 p.m. with bounce houses (running until 8:30), food trucks and a wholesome, flag-waving family atmosphere before its own fireworks light up around 9 p.m.

Lebanon

Lebanon gets a jump on the holiday with a community parade tonight — Friday, July 3 — stepping off at 7 p.m. from City Hall, rolling down West Main Street and wrapping up at the Wilson County Courthouse on the historic square. The next evening, the celebration moves to the Wilson County Fairgrounds at 945 E. Baddour Parkway: gates open at 5 p.m., the festivities begin at 6, and fireworks cap the night around 9 p.m.

Watertown

Watertown keeps its small-town charm front and center with an afternoon parade at 4 p.m. on July 4, followed by a fireworks show in the fields behind Three Forks Park — a classic finish to a classic small-town Fourth.

A few tips wherever you land: these shows draw a crowd, so arrive early, pack chairs and bug spray, and leave yourself extra time for parking and the post-fireworks traffic. Bring water for the Tennessee heat, and if you have little ones, the earlier family activities are the sweet spot. However you mark the country's milestone birthday, Wilson County has a front-row seat waiting.
