A Ribbon, a Head Spa and a Former Aqua Bella: Oxana Salon Gets Its Mt. Juliet Welcome
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold a ribbon cutting for Oxana Salon and Spa, the full-service salon and wellness space at 151 Adams Lane, Suite 10. It is a new chapter for a familiar address: the location was formerly Aqua Bella Salon & Spa and now operates under new ownership, with renovations and an expanded menu of services.
More than a haircut
Oxana's Mt. Juliet menu runs well beyond the chair. Hair color, cuts and styling, extensions and scalp treatments sit alongside brow and lash work, makeup, nails, waxing and skincare. There is also a med spa side, with SkinPen microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, clinical facials, acne treatments and customized skincare plans. The company, which also runs a Nashville shop on Eighth Avenue South, lists massage and wellness services for this location as well.
The head spa
The service getting the most curiosity is the Japanese head spa, a scalp-focused treatment that started in Japan with the idea that healthy hair begins at the scalp. According to Oxana, a visit begins with a high-definition scalp camera and consultation, moves through an exfoliating cleanse, then an aromatherapy steam and massage, followed by a nourishing scalp mask. A blowout is included, and treatments start at $140. The salon says it removes buildup, eases tension and supports healthier hair growth, and the appointment lasts about an hour.
Good to know before you go
The salon is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed Sundays. Parking is free on site. Appointments can be made at (615) 265-8800; press 3 for the Mt. Juliet location.
Ribbon cuttings like this one are how Mt. Juliet's business community says hello, and there have been plenty lately. If you want to keep up, our Ribbon Cuttings archive tracks each opening as it happens, and for a different kind of grand opening, see the new sushi spot that just opened at Everette Downs.
If you go by Wednesday, say hello to the team and take a look at what has changed in the space. A locally run wellness stop on Adams Lane is one more reason to spend a Saturday morning in Mt. Juliet.
