Thirty Years of Lifted Trucks and Trail Stories: Tennessee Off-Road Throws a Show-and-Shine Bash in Lebanon on Oct. 30

Thirty years is a long time to keep other people's trucks on the trail. Tennessee Off-Road, a veteran-owned shop that has served Middle Tennessee since 1996, is marking the milestone with a night-long party in Lebanon.

The 30 Year Bash runs Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the shop, 4755 Lebanon Road in Lebanon, a short drive from Mt. Juliet. The lineup includes an awards presentation, a raffle, a food truck and a show and shine, the centerpiece of the evening. The announcement does not say whether there is an admission charge, so check the shop's event page before you go.

The show and shine, category by category

In a show and shine, the crowd does the judging. Visitors vote for their favorite rig in each category, and the list tells you a lot about the culture. Categories include most cloaked, best lighting, best sound system, most ducks, best mall crawler, best daily, best motor swap, best old school, best no straight body panels, trail built and best overlander. There is also an overall people's choice award and a separate TOR choice pick from the shop itself.

If the ducks in that list puzzle you, they are a long-running Jeep tradition: owners leave a rubber duck on another Jeep as a small, friendly hello. Expect to see plenty of both on Oct. 30.

If you go

Plan on an evening event: the party starts at 5 p.m. on a Friday and the schedule runs past midnight, so dress for a Tennessee October night. The announcement points to a Facebook event page for the latest details on the awards, the raffle and the food truck. Because attendees do the voting in every show-and-shine category, every visitor who walks the lot gets a say in who takes home a title.

What the shop does

Tennessee Off-Road handles services for four-wheel-drive and off-road vehicles, along with general repair on most vehicles, on the road or off it. Staying in business for three decades in a specialty trade usually means loyal customers and steady word of mouth, and a party that runs until 1 a.m. suggests the community around the shop is a large one.
