Shoplifting Call Leads to Arrest of Fugitive Wanted in Colorado

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident at Walmart the evening of Tuesday, September 2nd. The suspect fled, but thanks to the officers’ quick response, he was located driving on S. Mt. Juliet Rd near Providence Pkwy.

The suspect, a 52-year-old man from Denver, CO, was found to be a fugitive wanted in Colorado on a nationwide extradition warrant for 1st-degree burglary and forgery dating back to May 2025. He was safely taken into custody and booked into the Wilson County Jail, where he will remain until Colorado authorities pick him up.
