Four Doors, Sixteen Days: Early Voting in Wilson County Opens Oct. 14, With a Stop in Mt. Juliet

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, but for a lot of Mt. Juliet households the real voting day will come sooner. Early voting in Wilson County opens Wednesday, October 14, and runs through Thursday, October 29, and one of the four sites is right here in town.

Where to go

The Wilson County Election Commission lists four early voting locations. Any registered Wilson County voter can use any of them:

  • Charlie Daniels Community Center, 1075 Charlie Daniels Parkway, Mt. Juliet
  • Wilson County Election Commission, 230 East Gay Street, Lebanon
  • Gladeville Community Center, 95 McCrary Road, Lebanon
  • Watertown Community Center, 8630 Sparta Pike, Watertown

For most Mt. Juliet residents, the Charlie Daniels Parkway site is the obvious choice. If you work in Lebanon, the Election Commission office on East Gay Street may fit a lunch break better.

When they are open

The county's posted hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. That gives working parents two Saturday mornings, October 17 and October 24, to vote without taking time off.

What to bring

Tennessee requires a photo ID to vote, and the county specifies a Tennessee-issued or federally issued photo ID, such as a driver license, a state photo ID card, a U.S. passport or a military ID. If a first-time voter in your house is unsure whether their ID counts, the Election Commission's photo ID page spells out the accepted list.

The deadline to register for this election was October 5, so anyone who is not already on the rolls will have to wait for the next one. If you are unsure whether your registration is current, the Election Commission can check by phone at 615-444-0216, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What is on the ballot

Alongside the federal and state races, the Election Commission notes that three proposed amendments to the Tennessee Constitution are on the November ballot. Sample ballots are posted on the commission's website, and it is worth pulling yours up before you go so nothing in the booth is a surprise.

Mt. Juliet voters also have local decisions to make. We walked through the city question in our explainer on the home rule vote, and the local races in our look at the candidates.

A quick plan

Pick your site, check your sample ballot, bring your ID, and go. If early voting slips past you, you can still vote on November 3 at your assigned Election Day polling place, which may not be the same building as the early voting sites; the commission's website lists Election Day locations by precinct.

Dates, locations and hours above are from the Wilson County Election Commission as of October 10, 2026. Confirm on the commission's site before you go.
