Suspect Drives Truck into Two Parked Patrol Vehicles as Officers Investigate Domestic-Related Incident
An adult male is in-custody after purposely driving a truck into two parked police vehicles & a civilian car as officers were investigating a domestic-related incident on Alsdale Dr. Officers on foot, having to move out of the suspect’s path, were unharmed.
On Sunday, August 21, 2022 around 7:08 p.m. officers were summoned to a home in the 1600 block of Alsdale Drive by a family member of an individual who was involved in a domestic-related incident. Officers arrived to find a disorderly 21-year-old male suspect who was refusing to exit a pick-up truck in the driveway. The suspect abruptly drove away in the truck, through neighboring yards and back towards the police officers and parked patrol vehicles. After striking the second patrol vehicle, the truck became disabled, and the suspect was arrested.
The suspect was also injured when he crashed into the second patrol vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was harmed during this incident. Further, the suspect was unlicensed, and he was not the owner of the pick-up truck.
