A unknown man grabbed and ran away with over $100,000 in jewelry from a jewelry store this afternoon. Around 4:10 p.m., a man walked into American Jewelry, at 401 S. Mt. Juliet Rd, and began to browse merchandise with a store employee. Within moments, the man leaned over the counter, grabbed multiple jewelry items, and bolted, running away through the parking lot. The items stolen are collectively worth over $100,000.
Video surveillance captured the suspect in the act, and detectives are hoping someone will recognize him.
