DESCRIPTION:The Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade is the closest thing this town has to a guaranteed December tradition\, and it is free. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Saturday\, December 12\, running roughly two miles\, with a rain date held on Sunday\, December 13. \nA late-morning start is the hidden advantage here – no fighting bedtime\, no standing in the dark\, and you are home in time for lunch and a nap. Bring camp chairs\, a blanket and something warm to drink. Arrive 30 to 40 minutes early if you want a spot near the front of the route.
