The state fair is a Wilson County institution\, and it is close enough that you can go after work and still have the kids in bed at a reasonable hour. Ten days at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center bring livestock shows\, motorsports\, music across six stages\, exhibit halls\, the walk-through history of Fiddlers Grove\, and better than 60 carnival rides for every nerve level from toddler to teenager.
