Students feel the love from Texas after Hurricane Harvey

Students at Watertown Elementary and Mt. Juliet Middle School are starting to feel the love from the two Texas schools they adopted, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey!

In fact, Watertown principal, Anita Christan, got her “thank you” in person! Over fall break, she and her husband traveled to Liberty, Texas to deliver the supplies that were collected. A complete story of her trip will be featured in the next issue of “The Edge” newspaper.

Not to be outdone… the results of the Mt. Juliet Middle School Fundraiser are in. Students there collected $2,600 worth of gift cards and wrote 900 letters to students at the school they teamed up with. Congratulations everyone!
