New Biotech Lab Unveiled at Lebanon High School

Wilson County Schools would like to invite you to attend the Grand Opening of our first Biotech Lab at Lebanon High School. The event will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14th.

Lebanon High School has partnered with Volunteer State Community College to develop a new STEM Biotechnology Program. The school first began offering Biotech classes last year, as a part of the school’ s CTE program. This new equipment, which was added over the summer, will greatly enhance the learning experiences that our students will have access to.

While other states have been offering biotech classes for a number of years, the class that is being offered at Lebanon High School is the first of its kind in the state of Tennessee.

Please join us, as teacher, Melissa Bunch, shows off the new lab and explains why this is such a groundbreaking opportunity for the students who sign up.
